Concert to Benefit National Czech and Slovak Museum

Iowa Festival Chorus "Homecoming" Flood Disaster Relief Concert

When/Where:
7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 2 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church 8300 C Ave. Marion, Iowa (location is approximately 1 mile north of Boyson Rd. on C Ave.)

Cost:
No admission fee; but a "free will" offering will be accepted and given to the National Czech and Slovak Museum and Library for their rebuilding and restoration efforts.

The tour:
The group has been on tour from June 19-30, 2008. The choir is touring and singing concerts in five capitol cities in Europe: Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Berlin, and concluding in Prague.

The music:
The choir will be performing a one-hour "All-American" program of Spirituals, Gospel, and Folk Music.
