Volunteer Time Log Now Online at www.icgov.org/volunteerlog

Have you donated your time to help sandbag or clean up during the flood in Iowa City? If so, go to www.icgov.org/volunteerlog to register your time. Please record your time leading up to the flood and each time you volunteer during the ongoing recovery. The total hours donated by volunteers will be submitted to FEMA for as part of the City’s required local match to receive reimbursement for flood-related expenses. Parkersburg, Iowa, fulfilled its entire local match requirements through volunteer hours spent there, so the City encourages all who volunteer to spend a few moments to document their time. Thank you.

Remember, those who wish to either volunteer or those residents who need help should now call the United Way Volunteer Center at 337-8657 (337-VOLS) to be matched up. Hours of operation at 8:30 AM-5:30 PM daily, including weekends.
