Donate to Flood Victims - List of Items

St. Matthew Church, 2310 FIRST AVE. NE Cedar Rapids, will be collecting items to distribute to those affected by the flood. Below is a list of items that will be accepted from Thursday, June 19, to Sunday, June 22. The collection point will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Cleaning Supplies
Spray cleaners (disinfectant)
Buckets (any size)
Paper towels
Scrubbing brushes
Bleach
Sturdy garbage bags
Masks
Sponges
Brooms
Adult size rubber boots
Mops
Sturdy plastic or work gloves
Personal Items
Toothbrushes
Toilet paper
Toothpaste
Comb/brush
Bar soap
Razors/shave cream
Pump soap
Deodorant
Hand sanitizer
Trial size kleenexes
Small bottles of shampoo
Diapers
Bandaids and antibiotic ointment
Diaper wipes
New underwear —all sizes including XL and 2XL
Women’s personal items

Other items
Non perishable food
First aid kits
Water bottles
Decks of cards
Binders or folders
Pens/pencils
Can openers
Paper plates and cups
Laundry detergent
Boxes for packing items (cardboard and plastic totes)

Distribution of these items for everyone affected by the flood will take place at the main unit of The Boys and Girls Club temporary site at Roosevelt Middle School on Tuesday, June 24, until supplies are gone.
