Many businesses not in the flood zone are feeling an impact by the flood, even though they didn't take on water.
The Iowa Small Business development Center with Kirkwood and the University of Iowa are opening a Corridor business recovery center this week.
It will help businesses that have no physical damage.
Many of them are suffering an impact to cash flow, customer base, supply chain or workforce.
The help is free to for-profit businesses with fewer than 500 employees.
There will be centers in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City.
The Iowa City location will be at the University of Iowa SBDC office at 2660 University Capitol Centre Ste 2673
(319) 335-3742
The Cedar Rapids location is at Kirkwood Community College Continuing Education Center 7725 Kirkwood Blvd. SW
(319) 377-8256
Other disaster recovery counseling sites will be established at the Technology Innovation Center at the Oakdale Campus of UI and the Kirkwood Training and Outreach Center in Marion.
Affected businesses should call for an appointment.
