CEDAR RAPIDS - Since the floodwaters hit Cedar Rapids, the city has been working non-stop to repair and recover.
Now, it wants to know how it's doing, and everyone has a chance to chime in.
Especially flood victims like Sherene Thompson.
She says it's a constant battle to remove more wet material and stop mold at the same time from her home in the Time Check neighborhood.
"This is just so depressing. I just don't know what to do, I'm overwhelmed with what's next and how to do it," said Thompson.
She's not the only one thinking ahead to the future. City leaders in Cedar Rapids are too.
They're asking anyone directly affected by the flood, and those not affected at all to fill out a short survey, rating the city's performance.
But, some people say it's too early to ask about feedback, they say they've still got garbage in their front yard. However, the city says this is the perfect time to get feedback.
"Certainly there are things that occurred that are related to the city up to this point, and while its fresh in peoples minds, they can offer very candid suggestions for improvement," said CR City Council Member Brian Fagan.
City leaders say they still have a lot of decisions to make, and residents still have a lot of work to do, and understanding how those decisions are affecting people now will help in the future.
There are two ways to give your feedback.
You can either do it on the web - http://www.cedar-rapids.org/community/flood_survey.asp
Or, you can stop by the city offices at Westdale Mall during regular business hours.
