Flood impact update from Luther College

As Luther moves past the flood crisis and begins recovery, we want to share the following update regarding important campus activities that will take place, some specific summer camp cancellations, and the continued closing of the Regents Center and the lower campus.

ROADS new student registration days on as scheduled

The college will host the “Luther College ROADS” new student registration days as scheduled on June 16 and 17 (the June 12 and 13 events were held successfully). For specific information about the ROADS days, call the Admissions Office, 563-387-1287, open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Before you travel to campus for any summer event or activity, or if you have questions about a specific summer program, event or activity, please call the Luther Summer Conferences and Programs Office, 563-387-1538, open 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Summer Camps office announcements
The Summer Camps office regrets to report that due to the recent flood conditions the college has cancelled the following summer events:

• Swimming Camp, June 8-13
• "I Have a Dream" event, June 9-11
• WIYLDE orientation group June 12-13
• Ultimate Frisbee, 12-15
• Golf Camp, June 14-17

Regents Center, lower campus closed
Until further notice, all outdoor facilities on the lower Luther campus (walking trails, athletic fields, tennis courts, parking lots, etc.) are closed to campus and community use. The Legends Fitness for Life Center will open as soon as possible. Call the Legends desk, 387-1024, to verify re-opening date. The Regents Center main gym and SRC will also open as soon as possible for campus use. Racquetball courts, the north gym and lower level (locker rooms, showers, pool, etc.) are closed until repaired.
