The Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust

By Becky Ogann

The Cedar Rapids Bank & Trust (CRBT) Downtown Office, located at 500 First Avenue Northeast, is offering a temporary walk-in kiosk to flood victims seeking an internet connection. The kiosk includes two computers with internet access, a printer, and contact information for various flood relief programs and services including FEMA, American Red Cross, Small Business Administration (SBA), Iowa Department of Human Services and more.

“Our hearts go out to the many people in our community who are suffering. We hope that this tool will provide access to valuable information for those most in need. As the challenges that face our community evolve over the coming weeks, we will look for additional ways to provide assistance," comments Larry Helling, CRBT President and CEO.

Until further notice, the walk-in kiosk is open to the public Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday, 9:00 am to 12Noon.

CRBT is also a partner with Z102.9FM and their Rising Above t-shirt fundraising campaign in Cedar Rapids. CRBT will serve as one of the local businesses that will display the shirts and have them available to the public. Any flood relief contribution of $20 or more will get you one t-shirt. Proceeds will go directly to the Great Cedar Rapids Community Foundation and assist relief efforts in Linn County.
