Man Dies After Truck Goes Over Bridge into Turkey River

ELDORADO (AP) - A northeast Iowa man is dead after his truck went over a bridge and landed on its top in the Turkey River near Eldorado.

The Iowa State Patrol says Darin Wurzer of Festina was pulling a manure wagon on Iowa Highway 150 on Tuesday when he lost control of the truck when the trailer started bouncing up and down.

The patrol says the wagon slid off the bridge and into the river, pulling the truck with it.
