People in Anamosa spent Monday filling sandbags at the sewer treatment plant and making sand walls around town to prevent any flooding.

The Wapsipincon River crested in Anamosa this morning at 23.6 feet. Many people in the area say they're not too worried because they are prepared and already have experience from previous floods.

Residents say they don't expect this flood to be as bad as what we saw in 2008.
