By Daren Sukhram

IOWA CITY - Iowa City is making some changes to deal with rotting flood debris.

Landfill superintendent Dave Elias says there's about 10,000 tons of flood debris, and now it's starting to smell.

This week the city council approved a plan to expand the landfill's gas collection system, hoping to make the smell a little less noticeable.
