Campbell’s Clues to the Hawkeye Gold Ticket will be published in the Gazette sports section, and online at http://www.kcrg.com/goldticket starting Sunday, August 23, 2009 and daily through August 29, 2009 unless the ticket is found prior to that date. Gazette Communications is located at 500 Third Avenue SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52401.
The Hawkeye Gold Ticket will be hidden on public land somewhere in Linn or Johnson County. No digging, disassembly will be required to find the ticket. The Gazette Family of Companies and the University of Iowa reserve the right to discontinue the hunt at any time in the event of unsafe conditions or disruption, destruction or damage to property.
All are welcome to participate in the hunt for the ticket except employees of the Gazette Family of Companies, UI Athletic Department employees/athletes, contest sponsors and participants and their immediate households. If the winning individual is a minor, the Gazette Family of Companies has the right to award the prize to a conservator, custodian or custodial parent of the minor and such individual shall provide a liability and publicity release in exchange for the award.
The Gazette Family of Companies, University of Iowa, contest sponsors and participants and their respective affiliate companies, parents, agents, subsidiaries and agents assume no responsibility for accidents or injuries of any kind sustained by contestants in the search for the ticket. Participants are urged to use reasonable safety precautions, good sportsmanship, respect private property and follow all rules set by the Gazette Family of Companies and the University of Iowa.If the Hawkeye Gold Ticket is not found by midnight on Sunday, August 30th, 2009, the Gazette Family of Companies reserves the right to discontinue the contest.
Except where legally prohibited, all participants agree as a condition of participation and in the event the individual is the winner, to grant permission to the Gazette Family of Companies and/or the University of Iowa to use his or her name, photograph, voice, and/or likeness for publicity and advertising purposes and shall sign a publicity and liability waiver authorizing and permitting such use.
The Hawkeye Gold Ticket may not be redeemed for cash or credit, and is prohibited for resale.
The Hawkeye Gold Ticket offer is not valid with any other Gazette Family of Companies or University of Iowa packages, promotions, or discounts.No copies will be accepted.
Upon finding the Hawkeye Gold Ticket, winner should contact the KCRG-TV9 Multimedia department immediately at (319) 398-8422 to validate authenticity of the Hawkeye Gold Ticket.
No entry fee, purchase, donation, payment or other consideration is charged in order to participate or win.
