CEDAR RAPIDS - The debate over gay marriage takes center stage at the Iowa Supreme Court on Tuesday.

Kate and Trish Varnum from Cedar Rapids are one of six same sex couples trying to overturn Iowa's current marriage law.

In 2007, a Polk County judge briefly overturned the law and two men from Ames became Iowa's only legally married gay couple.

The same judge put his ruling on hold until the state Supreme Court rules.

We will LIVE stream Tuesday's Supreme Court hearing live at 10:00 a.m., here on KCRG.com.
