President Bush Speaks on Iowa Floods, Upcoming Trip
WASHINGTON DC - President Bush has returned from his trip to Europe, and is coming to Iowa to see the flood damage.
Tuesday morning, after a briefing on the flooding in the midwest, the President spoke about his upcoming visit. "This Thursday I'm going to take our team down there to meet with the folks in Iowa. And I, unfortunately, have been to too many disasters as President. But one thing I've always learned is that the American citizen can overcome these disasters. And life, while it may seem dim at this point in time, can always be better because of the resiliency and care of our citizens," said President Bush. The White House hasn't released details of the President's visit yet, but we will pass them on to you as soon as they become available. More Good Stuff |
