CR Chamber President to Retire

CEDAR RAPIDS - The Cedar Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for a new President and CEO.

Lee Clancey, the Chamber's current President and CEO, will retire on Sept. 1, 2008. Clancey is expected to remain in her position until a replacement is found.

A search committee is being formed to fill the job. Chamber members expect to have a replacement by the end of the summer.

While with the Chamber, Clancy has overseen the implementation of numerous programs including Chamber Academy, pharmacy discount card, and the Community Gift Certificate.
