Bill Clinton Campaigns for Wife in Iowa
GLENWOOD (AP) - Former President Bill Clinton says the nation needs to change course to stress diplomacy rather than force and his wife, Hillary, is the best person to demand the new approach.
Clinton says her experience has made her a unique candidate for the Democratic nomination. Clinton has been in Glenwood today, in overwhelmingly Republican western Iowa. Clinton criticized the Bush administration for an economic policy that he says caused the median income to drop $1,000 in the past six years -- while the costs of health care, housing, transportation and college have skyrocketed.
