KCRG/Gazette/Courier Staff Reports

WATERLOO, Iowa - School counselors will be available Monday to support and address concerns of students after two girls disappeared last week.

Counselors will be at Kingsley Elementary School from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and at Poyner Elementary School from 4 to 8 p.m. Lyric Cook-Morrissey, 10, and Elizabeth Collins, 8, went missing Friday while riding their bikes around Meyers Lake in Evansdale. Cook-Morrissey attends Kingsley and Collins is a Poyner student.

Those who stop at the schools should enter through each building's main entrance. Staff will direct people to the appropriate areas.

The times are being made available for students to talk with counselors about their concerns. Parents will receive a guide to help with discussions with their child.

Call Kingsley or Poyner during the scheduled times with any questions. Kingsley can be reached at (319) 433-2210 and Poyner at (319) 433-1534. Each school's principal will be there to answer calls.
