WATERLOO, Iowa - A fun run/walk charity event for the families of Lyric Cook-Morrissey and Elizabeth Collins is scheduled for Saturday at 8 a.m.
The race starts at the RiverLoop Amphitheater & Expo Plaza, 225 Commercial St., Waterloo.
The race will not be officially timed and no awards will be given. Come to enjoy the Cedar Valley trail system while showing your support for Elizabeth, Lyric, and their families by wearing pink, the girls’ favorite color.
Monetary donations for the families will be accepted for the fund started at First Security Bank.
Parking will be available at the amphitheater, plaza, public ramps, and streets. Do not park in the Waterloo Public Library lot.
Authorities are asking anyone who has any information on the case to call the tip line, at 319-232-6682 or send an e-mail to ourmissingiowagirls@dps.state.ia.us.
A reward of $150,000 has been established for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
