WATERLOO, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Waterloo Bucks have begun a long-term naming rights agreement for the field at Riverfront Stadium.

The Bucks, who play their home games at the stadium have made a partnership with Mark Evans, owner of Evans Enterprises, to be the sole naming rights sponsor of the field.

Evans Enterprises is the owners of the Cost Cutters franchise.

The stadium is previously known as "Riverfront Stadium" and will now be referred to as "Cost Cutters Field at Riverfront Stadium."

CEO of Cedar Rapids Ballcub Inc., Doug Nelson, who owns the Waterloo bucks said, "We are thrilled with the commitment from Evans Enterprises and Cost Cutters to baseball in Waterloo. This naming rights sponsorship only strengthens our ability to bring a true family entertainment product to the people of the Cedar Valley."

Evans said the company is excited for the future of the partnership.

He said the decision was made with the idea of family in mind.

"We saw a great opportunity to combine Cost Cutter’s strong family brand with the great family entertainment experience the Bucks offer in the Cedar Valley," Evans said.
