Winneshiek County warns residents of burglars

WINNESHIEK COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The Winneshiek County Sheriff’s Office is telling people to be cautious after a burglary on December 31.

Police say the burglary happened at the Bluffton Store at around 4 a.m.

They said it's possible that the two subjects involved with the burglary may try to steal things from other stores, as they seemed very familiar with the Bluffton store.

Police say residents should be cautious and call the police at 563-382-4268 if you see any suspicious activity.

The burglary case is still under investigation.
