CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) - Rain and a wintry mix will change to wet snow early in this afternoon. Some minor accumulation up to an inch is possible in northern Iowa. Some slick roads will remain. Otherwise, winds will crank up from the west at 20 to 30 mph with gusts as high as 40 mph. Snow ends this afternoon while winds back off in the evening.
Patchy fog is possible tonight with a mostly cloudy sky and lows generally in the 20s. Clouds remain tomorrow as a light wintry mix develops late. Light snow is possible tomorrow night into early Thursday. The week ends colder with highs in the upper teens to around 20. Snow is possible again on Saturday.
