CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The upcoming weekend will be great for anything outdoors, with comfortable temperatures and plenty of sunshine. With Hurricane Irma likely impacting parts of the U.S., eastern Iowa will still be stuck in a very quiet weather pattern.
As high pressure drifts east, our winds will turn east-southeasterly, which will help us rebound slightly from the fall-like temperatures we experienced Tuesday and today. High temperatures on Saturday and Sunday will be in the mid to upper 70s. Cloud cover will be hard to find, so expect plenty of sunshine on both days.
Very similar conditions can be expected through most of the following week as well. Chances for rain remain little to none.
