CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) - Plentiful sunshine on Tuesday got the melting process going, and that will continue the next few days. You can thank air coming in from the southwest for that. A milder morning on Wednesday will give a head-start to the upper 30s for an afternoon high. And even with clouds on Thursday, highs should again reach the upper 30s. There’s a slight chance of a sprinkle or flurry that day, but whatever might happen will be isolated and have no impacts.
Colder air will briefly hit on Friday, but temperatures quickly bounce back to the 30s on Saturday and 40s on Sunday.
