CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) - Now that the final month of the year, and 2017, are both behind us, now is a good time to see how we fared with respect to temperature and precipitation. Note that the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City snowfall are taken only once per day and not at the airport, and aren’t technically “official.”

Dubuque
Average temperature: 22.3, 0.5 degree below normal

Iowa City
Average temperature: 26.5, 1.3 degrees above normal
Precipitation: 0.63”, 0.89” below normal
Snowfall: 6.1”, 1.5” below normal

Average temperature: 21.9, 0.3 degree below normal
