Climate summary for February and winter 2017-2018

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) - Meteorological spring has begun, which means we can look back at how February and winter fared in regards to temperature and precipitation. February was near or colder than average, and ended up being above average on snowfall. Winter as a whole was near to a bit colder than average. Most places were short on snowfall this past season, but it wasn’t as bad as the previous two winters.
