Today will be the warmest since February 4th

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A warm front is moving across eastern Iowa this morning. As a result, we'll continue on with the clouds while the front passes by. A flurry cannot entirely be ruled out in the very early morning hours, either. Plan on a decrease in clouds by the afternoon, with many areas briefly touching 30. That will feel nice compared to the past 7 days!

Tonight into tomorrow, wind remains from the south and should keep working on the temperatures to keep them up.

Tomorrow should be a milder day with highs into the upper 30s and lower 40s. Clouds will be widespread again by the afternoon, though, with a risk of fog in the area by tomorrow night. That's something to keep in mind if you have Valentine's plans.

Right beyond this, a cold front passes by on Thursday morning. A sprinkle or flurry cannot be ruled out with that front, with many areas staying entirely dry.
