Student of the Month: February

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - 18-year-old Cassie Williams is a senior at North Linn High School. With a 4.0 GPA, she's on track to graduate at the top of her class with a future at the University of Iowa. She's a talented musician who plays bass guitar and a variety of instruments for pep band. Cassie volunteers at the elementary school as a teacher's aide and participates in a variety of school clubs.

Kyle Voy is a freshmen at Wapsie Valley High School. The 14-year-old has made a huge impact in his community, using his love of agriculture to organize tractor rides that help feed local families. In the last two years, Kyle raised almost $3,000 for His Hands Food Pantry. He's active in his church, participates in sports and FFA.

Sara Simon is a 17-year-old senior at Center Point-Urbana High School. Her love of helping others inspired her to become a Certified Nursing Assistant with the dream of becoming a nurse. Sara enjoys trap shooting, but spends most of her time volunteering all over town. She helps people of all ages whether it's at a senior care center, gaming clubs or working with younger students.

Voting ends on Friday, February 10. KCRG-TV9 will feature the winner at the end of the month.
