Storm Chasing: Eastern Colorado

By  |

BRUSH, Colo. (KCRG-TV9) -- Sunday morning, we left Rapid City and proceeded south to favorable environment for storms. Our 5 hour, 260 mile drive took us to the town of Brush, Colorado, about 80 miles northeast of Denver. Here we have set up to wait for possible developing storms to our west.

As of 6 PM, radar was fairly quiet, putting us in a holding pattern until things start firing. Until then, we’ve been keeping a close eye on radar and model trends.

We’ll continue to provide updates through the evening on KCRG.com and Facebook.
