UPDATE: Dubuque man accused shooter in Maquoketa shooting

MAQUOKETA, Iowa (KWQC) -- Three men are charged in connection with a shooting that sent one person to the hospital in Maquoketa Monday night.

The Maquoketa Police Department says two men broke into a trailer and shot the man who lives there, 31-year-old Brian Filloon. The shooting happened at a mobile home park at 1205 E. Platt in unit No. 121.

Police say Filloon was airlifted to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in serious condition but is expected to survive.

Desmond Reeves, 20 of Dubuque, and Andrew Combs, 18 of Maquoketa, and Alex Wright, 22 of Maquoketa, are charged in connection with the break-in and shooting.

Reeves is charged with first-degree burglary and Combs and Wright is charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary.

Reeves is the accused shooter.
