CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Our skies will look to gradually clear out tonight, as somewhat drier air filters in on easterly winds. This will bring us into a fairly seasonable Monday with sunshine and highs in the low 80s. However, the quiet and less humid conditions will only last briefly as winds return out of the south tomorrow night, and lead eastern Iowa into a very steamy and possibly stormy stretch.
Our first chance of storms arrives on Tuesday with a cold front drifting south into the area. The highest chance of storms will be in northern Iowa. As the front drifts around the region over the coming days, there will be chances for storms through next weekend. This is a very similar pattern to what we experienced last week.
