FLORIDA (KCRG-TV9) -- These Florida police officers say they were ready to hit the dance floor for this high school prom.
The officers weren't there to crash the Saturday night party or chaperone.
They were the dates of several special needs students.
"It's amazing to see these young kids that don't have the opportunity to come to this to be here today. They are awesome kids. And now they are mingling with the other kids, doing the same thing that kids that don't have disabilities are doing," retired Boynton Beach Police Officer Scott Harris said.
The officers even prepared boutonnieres and corsages for the students.
