CORALVILLE, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) - Less than an hour after robbing a bank in Coralville, authorities arrested two people.

Around 3:15 Thursday afternoon, Coralville Police responded to a bank robbery at Bank of the West, located at 800 22nd Avenue.

Police say a man entered the bank, demanded money, and got away with cash.

Someone tipped police off to a suspicious gray colored Ford Crown Victoria with Missouri license plates leaving the area. Coralville police then told all authorities across Iowa to watch out for the vehicle.

Around 4 p.m., or about 45 minutes after the robbery, the Scott County Sheriff's Office pulled over the vehicle at the 287 milemarker on I-80. That's about 3 miles east of the Walcott exit.

The sheriff's office says deputies could see "property related to the robbery" inside the vehicle. They took two people inside the vehicle into custody.

Authorities arrested 60-year-old Peter Lundberg and 48-year-old Bridgett Durborow, both of St. Louis. They're both charged with 2nd degree robbery and are being returned to Johnson County.
