Police say the cause of death isn't being released as they are waiting for autopsy results from the Medical Examiner's Office.
“We are treating the death as suspicious and we are awaiting confirmation as to the manner and means of death from the state medical examiner," Police Chief Wayne Jerman said.
Neighbors in the area said the victim was a good neighbor and would wave hello. Rita Ackerman has lived in the neighborhood for years and said this has her and others concerned.
“This is a mostly quiet neighborhood, I haven’t seen much activity in this neighborhood until last night," Ackerman said. “I think it’s tragic. My heart goes out to the family.”
No one is in custody and there is an active, ongoing investigation.
