WATERLOO, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- One person has been charged with beating and robbing a Waterloo teen on Tuesday.
Tyteria Jackson, 16, of Waterloo, was taken into custody on September 13 for charges of second-degree robbery and first-degree burglary.
Jackson is being charged as an adult.
The police department said the investigation into the attack is ongoing and they expect other arrests to be made.
Police said the victim knew some of the suspects in the assault.
Police said at least three youths went into a 17-year-old's mobile home around 2 p.m. Tuesday on Montero Drive.
The people who entered the 17-year-old girl's home punched and kicked her while she was in bed, before dragging her onto the mobile home's porch, where they continued to attack her.
The attacker's also took the victim's phone during the incident.
