UPDATE: Family identified after semi truck and SUV crash kills two

ANAMOSA, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Iowa State Patrol says two children have died and three others are hurt after a crash on Highway 151 in Anamosa.

The Hunter Family. Parents Molli Hunter and Brandon Hunter. Donny Hunter (7), Diamond Hunter (8) and Hope Hunter (13).

Patrol and the family confirm the two dead are siblings Diamond Hunter, who was 8, and Donny Hunter, who was 7. Both were from Monticello.

The family tells us the children's mother, Molli Hunter, is in critical condition. The father, Brandon Hunter has many broken bones. The oldest child, 13-year-old Hope Hunter is in stable condition.

State Patrol says a semi-truck was going southbound on 151 in Anamosa around 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. A Hyundai SUV slid through the stop sign going east on 215th Avenue, that's when the semi hit the SUV.

First responders transported two people to UIHC with injuries; one by helicopter and one by ambulance. One other also went to St. Luke's hospital with injuries.

The crash also slowed traffic on Highway 151 for some time Sunday afternoon.

The crash is under investigation.
