People enjoy India Independence Day celebration at Steeple Square in Dubuque on Saturday, August 12.

This is the fourth year of the event, and organizer Sanjeev Pal says it grows each year.

"People started loving it you know because one is the food and the other one is people wanted to know what India is."

Organizers hope to hold the celebration again next year and that even more people will come.
