Man breaks into utility shed where methamphetamine was being manufactured

CLAYTON COUNTY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Clayton County Deputies were called to North Buena Vista for a suspicious person near the baseball field on February 28.

Investigators said Eric Shafer, 32, of North Buena Vista, had broken into a utility shed where methamphetamines were being manufactured.

Deputies found a pot methamphetamine laboratory and other items used for manufacturing in the shed.

Shafer has been charged with 3rd Degree Burglary.

Additional charges of manufacturing methamphetamines are pending laboratory results from the Iowa DCI laboratory.
