DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A Dubuque group treated law officers to a special lunch Tuesday.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving, or MADD, sponsored a meal for the Dubuque County Sheriff's Office. The members served chicken, corn, potatoes, and rolls.
The group's president said they wanted to show appreciation for all that law enforcement does for the community.
"We feel that [we needed to do this] in order to show them that we support them and it's merely a positive way for us to show our appreciation," Linda Chapman, MADD president, said.
They served the lunch one day after National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
