CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) - A light wintry mix is possible this afternoon and early evening. While it won't be much, we'll still want to be mindful of some patchy slick spots that continue. Highs will range from the 20s north to 40s south. A bit more light snow may fall later tonight into early Thursday before the sky begins to clear a bit in the afternoon. It'll be colder, though, with highs close to 20.
We'll stay in the teens on Friday. Another round of light snow is possible Saturday. By early next week, a more potent storm system brings the likelihood of a wintry mix. Early signs are that icing may occur. Beyond that, highs ought to be above freezing.
