CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9)-- Another round of sunshine, why not? However, a shot of cooler air has moved in due to the passing of the cold front. Winds are blowing out of the northwest at 10 to 20 mph. Due to the northwest wind, there will be a bit of a chill in the air.
Winds will switch directions throughout the evening and overnight hours. Expect the winds to blow out of the southeast at roughly 5 to 10 mph. This will help keep temperatures fairly mild. Low temperatures will drop into the low to middle 20s.
Temperatures will warm back into the low 50s for Thursday, thanks to a southerly wind at 5 to 15 and strong sunshine. The warmth will continue throughout the rest of the week and especially into the weekend. Would you believe that temperatures will warm into the 60s? Well, you should! Get ready for a sunny and well above normal temperature weekend.
