OLIN, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Alliant Energy reports crews have restored power to all customers in Olin.
Alliant Energy's outage map shows 456 of their customers who live around Olin are without power.
A spokesperson for Alliant, Mike Wagner, tells TV9 the power has been out in that area since early this morning. Wagner says the outage was caused by a tree that fell on a power line resulting in issues at the substation which sends out electricity to the community. Wagner added crews are on the ground working to restore power which he estimated would not be back online until around 6:30 p.m.
