CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- A father is going the extra mile to spread awareness for his three year old son.

Jordan Stolfus organized a fundraiser tonight for his son Carter, who has Ectodermal Dysplasia. It's a condition that has physical symptoms such as missing teeth, light and sparse hair, and the inability to sweat.

Buffalo Wild Wings hosted the event. There were bouncy houses, face painting, and a silent auction.

Proceeds went to help Carter's cause.

"The support has been phenomenal, I mean with as much negative going on in the world everybody tends to come together, well were trying to bring something positive and bring the community together you know for a change. We want to promote positivity and raise as much awareness about Ectodermal Cysplasia as possible," said Stolfus.

10 percent of Buffalo Wild Wings sales from today will go to Carter and his family. They will donate half of that money to the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasia.
