People bought them to honor everyday heroes in their lives -- a veteran, a first responder, or someone else.

The money will go to English River Outfitters, which holds outdoor activities for disabled veterans after they return from deployment.

"The VA does a lot. But they don't do every thing. And a lot of the veterans coming back have different issues. And they fall through the cracks. And we're just there to help seal up that crack a little bit," said Chuck Geertz of English River Outfitters.

The flags will be on display at Vets Memorial Stadium until July 11th.

After that, the people who bought the flags can take them home.
