Tuesday, they visited classrooms at Fulton Elementary School. They led activities that talked about the different types of bullying and how to combat them.

A University of Dubuque staff member says these activities help show elementary students how to respect others and themselves.

"We're just trying to help promote self-esteem, self-awareness, respect and most importantly raise those levels of empathy, so we can have a better understanding of how someone else feels," Amy Baus with the University of Dubuque said.

This project was part of a University of Dubuque class on bullying.
