Organizers call the bus tour "Drive For Our Lives", and the goal is to save the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare.

About a dozen people attended a rally in downtown Cedar Rapids late Friday morning. Some shared stories on how repeal efforts in Congress threatened the health care of many Americans.

The House passed a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare, but efforts failed in the Senate last month.

A woman who works for Planned Parenthood in Iowa City shared her experience.

"Yesterday alone I saw 10 women who traveled over two hours to be seen. Well I am disgusted and infuriated that in 2017, women have to travel that far to obtain access to birth control, STI testing and pap smears."

The bus tour is targeting House districts where Democrats think Republican incumbents will be vulnerable in 2018. That includes Rod Blum in Iowa's First District and David Young in the Third District.
