PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. (KCRG-TV9) -- A popular country music festival in Prairie du Chien will take a year off to "look at improvements to the event".
Organizers made the announcement on the event's Facebook page and website.
"We hope to be back in 2019 bigger, better … and even more country," the post reads.
The 3-day music festival started in 2010 and attracts tens of thousands of music fans who can camp out at the festival. Last year's event featured Chris Stapleton and Darius Rucker among many other acts. Kid Rock, Alabama, Dierks Bentley and Big and Rich are among the acts who have played at the event over the years.
