It's all part of the 40th annual Houby Days celebration in Cedar Rapids.
This weekend rain or shine, you can catch live music, food and a parade all to celebrate Czech culture.
Houby Days will bring in a number of vendors and carnival rides.
There will be contest and dancing around the maypole.
Some people will dress in traditional Czech costumes and restaurants will feature Czech dishes made with Morel mushrooms.
Houby Days is celebrated as a way to share and take part in Czech culture.
"It's what makes us who we are and the Czech people are a proud people, they're very strong and they've endured a great deal, it was not the wealthy Czechs that left as immigrants at the beginning of the 1900s, it was the very poor and now they are mayors and governors,” says Pam Lewis, board member with the Czech Village Association.
Houby Days started 40 years ago when the merchants association decided they wanted to put on a spring festival.
It’ll be taking place May 19th 5-10pm, May 20th 9am-10pm, May 21st 9am-4pm
