CONROY, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The National Weather Service says EF-1 tornado touched down near Conroy Tuesday afternoon.
The tornado touched down northeast of Williamsburg at roughly 534 pm central time and lifted at 554 pm central time. The path of the tornado was 4.69 miles. The max width was 60 yards.
While mostly crop damage, there were a couple of reports of building and tree damage. Two houses sustained damage to windows and siding. One far outbuilding lost parts of its roof, and another partially destroyed.
The maximum wind speed of the storm is estimated at 105 m.p.h.
