Brighter sky ahead

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- Clouds continue to decrease overnight. As the wind decreases as well, our temperature drops into the lower to middle 20s. A mostly sunny sky is with us Tuesday, helping highs jump into the 40s to near 50, still some 10-15 degrees below normal. By Wednesday morning an area of low pressure heads into western Iowa bringing rain and snow to the state. Winter storm watches have been power for northwest and north-central Iowa. Have a great night.
