CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- The sunshine will look amazing today, but it will likely fool you once again. High temperatures will top out into the upper teens. Yes, it is much warmer than yesterday, but it is still cold. Wind chills will likely still reach below zero at times for most across the TV9 viewing area due to a west wind at 5 to 15 mph. Clear skies stay with us throughout the overnight hours and temperatures will drop down to around zero. Thankfully, Sunday’s high temperatures will finally warm into the low 20s. In fact, our temperatures will continue to climb moving into the workweek, pushing into the 30s. Unfortunately, with the warmer temperatures comes the chance for snow and rain.
