NORMAN, Oklahoma (KCRG-TV9) - Iowa State with a third string quarterback was able to shock No. 3 Oklahoma, 38-31.

The Cyclones started their back up Kyle Kempt at quarterback with starter Jacob Park taking a leave from the team. Kempt threw for 3 touchdowns, including the game winner to Alan Lazard with 2:19 to play.

The Cyclone defense, which gave up just 7 points in the second half, stopped OU on a 4th down to seal the win.

Oklahoma had been considered a National Championship contender after its win earlier this season at Ohio State.
